Daddy’s Girl Spotlight of the Month – February 2012
This month’s Daddy’s Girl Spotlight is on Sean Pitterson, a University Registrar and his beautiful 10 month old daughter Zoe. The Pitterson’s have been nominated by Ayana Pitterson, loving wife and mother to both Sean and Zoe respectively. The Pitterson’s currently reside in Waldorf MD.Here is what Mrs. Pitterson had to say about Sean and Zoe. ..

What is your favorite activity to do with your daughter: He enjoys reading to her, feeding her and talking to her.
Most Memorable Daddy/Daughter Moment: Zoe is normally still awake around 8PM when he walks in the door. However, no matter how hard a day Sean might have just had, Zoe looks up at him and gives him the widest smile. Sean immediately lights up and stretches out his arms to her, she does the same.
Best Part of being a dad: Sean would say the best part is the sacrifice we make as parents so they can have a better life. He loves that we are a unit and that although we are not perfect, we have two beautiful kids who get to wake up each morning to mommy and daddy.
Hardest Part of being a dad: He worries constantly about her growing up and having to go out there into the world without his constant vigilant eyes. He knows that each day he has with her now is only preparation for the time that will come when she leaves the nest.
The Greatest Lesson You’ve learned from your daughter: The greatest lesson Sean has learned has been patience! Zoe can be a diva at times and at times, I know Sean thinks it’s just too much. However, as each day goes by, he has started to develop a loving patience for the antics, mood swings and fussiness of his 10mth old princess.
